Big Boss Man Summer 2018 Update

Big Boss Man’s 7” dance floor favourite “Sea Groove” has hit 1.1 Million plays on Spotify, tracks have been on TV shows around the world including “The Grand Tour” and this Summer Big Boss Man are back in the Movies with their tracks being used as part of the soundtrack to a new documentary about London’s historic music hub, Denmark Street,  entitled “Tales From Tin Pan Alley” – hitting the film festivals imminently. BBC DJs; Cerys Mathews, Craig Charles & Robert Elms have continued to support the band all spinning tunes on their shows this year.

On the live front BBM successfully made it to Montpellier, France to headline their night as part of the Cosmic Groove Spring Festival and have a select few dates this Summer and Autumn before heading back into Head Honcho Nass’s Beat Mountain Recording Studio to put the finishing touches to their BBM V  LP, full of Hammond Funk, Bongo-Fuzz freak-outs and a few soulful surprises  that will hit the streets later this year.
Bradley Burgess aka Badger  joins the band on bass  – Badger is also known for his work with Morcheeba, Holly Golightly and the original Bongolian lineup. Badger is taking over from original member Scott aka “the Hawk” who’s now touring the world full-time with shanty-punksters Skinny Lister.

Big Boss Man are working on their fifth studio album! They’ve been hard at work in the studio and recording is almost finished. The band are working on a 2018 release date so keep one eye on the Big Boss Man site for any further news!
