New album released!

The new album Harlem Hipshake was released last Friday (13th November) and has already received great reviews from magazines such as Scootering and Shindig. Several tracks have received airplay on BBC 6Music with Craig Charles “Really getting behind this album” and playing several tracks over a period of weeks on his Saturday Funk n Soul show.

This album sees the Bongolian delve deep into the polyrhythmic world of percussion. Massive influences such as Tito puente, the undisputed king of the timbales, Ray Barretto, Mongo Santamaria, Willie Colon have all left their mark on Nasser – you can hear these influences all over this beautiful new disk full of pulsating grooves heavy hitting bongo solos and motifs.
